Mixed Profile Front and Rear

The mixed profile front and rear setup of the 40|44 provides for maximum stability, lowest weight and optimized aerodynamics.

No Fuss Design

The 40|44 is designed to be your no fuss all around riding and climbing wheelset. There are no weight limits, no tire limitations, and can be set up tubeless or with tubes.

Internal Spoke Reinforcements

Reserve uses internally reinforced spoke holes to strengthen the area where the rim sees the most force, around the spoke nipple. This provides for improved strength without adding unnecessary weight.

FAQ

What's with the raised square-shaped area around the spokes?

That's material right where you need it. With information from testing in our carbon lab in hand, we set about determining how to build the strongest rim possible, and part of the result is the square-shaped reinforcements you can see around the spoke holes.

Can you build me a wheelset if I send you my hubs? Do you sell rim-only?

We do not currently offer wheelbuilding services, but we do offer rim-only options so you can have your dream wheels built by an experienced wheelsmith.
